No icons! I am no lover of EO, but icons are a must.
Renaissance art is too rationalistic and humanistic for me.
Dear Alms, I believe a number of the paintings were pre-Renaissance in the list. I too would have included some icons, on the other hand, I would have included other paintings, such as Cranach’s Weimar Altar painting.
