Augsburg-Fortress Publishing House never ceases to amaze me with their depth of theological poverty. This theoretically Lutheran publishing house is now pumping out the most lame videos I’ve ever seen to go along with a course of studies on being Lutheran. It is horrible stuff. Watch at your own risk. Lord, have mercy.

Just watched the video clip, I’m….. speechless. So poorly done it’s insulting; it’s not funny, not clever, and mocks the Lord’s supper. Or as my confirmation class would say “huh?” What is the message? That communion is some magical meal that will solve your marital problems? Apparently “Renewing Worship” is just the tip of iceberg.
Ok, what the heck am I missing here? Is this for kids? Is this a lesson on the Euchrist? I can’t tell!

This is appalling!! Thank God for CPH and NPH! The shining beacons of light against the wasteland that is the ELCA and Augsburg Fortress. It’s sad…a decade ago, I bought a few titles from A/F because they looked interesting… now when I look at a catalogue, it’s a site rife with socio-policial-feminist nonsense that’s FAR more about socialism than anything about Theology…and what there is on theology is horrid! Doesn’t AF have ANY standards?
Gimme some reconciliation biscuits….I wanna toss em at someone.
