I love this piece

What is about this tune that I find so entirely addictive? And, here’s a bit of movie trivia for you. In what movie did most of you hear this music for the first time?

Pastor McCain,
A group called Penguin Cafe Orchestra actually wrote this song, and probably (I haven’t yet checked) it is their version on the soundtrack to Napoleon Dynamite.
It was first featured, however, in an Australian film called Malcolm. (A very good movie! a bit campy, but mostly just fun).
Cheers.
I know that it was in the trailer to “She’s Having a Baby “(1988) but I don’t think it was in the movie. I remember it from being a preview on the Ferris Bueller video.

OK, thanks a lot, McCain.
I had never seen this Rhapsody site before. My life was perfectly content without it. Now I am lost. Lost I say. My wife will never see me again; my son will grow up without a father. The grass will not get cut, the dog will remain unwalked and unfed.
All because of you.
P.S. Here is the Penguin Cafe Orchestra album with their “big hits” on it. Listen to Perpetuum Mobile, you might recognize it as well.
