Welcome to my blog. My name is Paul T. McCain and I’m a pastor in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod serving as the Publisher and Executive Director of the Editorial Department at Concordia Publishing House. Previously, I have served as a seminary instructor in systematic theology, a parish pastor, as assistant to two of the presidents of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Interim Director of Concordia Historical Institute, then for nearly five years as Interim President/CEO of Concordia Publishing House. I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and am married with three children.
