    Check out Edward Tufte (an expert in the field of data representation) and his thoughts on PowerPoint. http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/ (click PowerPoint essay at the top, sorry, you have pay $7, but I highly recommend it)

    Ha, I love it. Actually I think that it is a fun way to teach technology along with history.
