Christmas Tree

We had a great Christmas tree this year, and just took it out yesterday. We bought it from a local tree farm that was selling trees for the last time this year, and this one was sort of off by itself. Boy did it last! Sorry to see it go.

A modified Christmas/Epiphany custom from our home: We have taken our Christmas Tree and put it outside and put birdseed on it. Or we have with lights and all put it outside, with a timer, kept it up during the Epiphany season. For Lent,our oldest son usually, strips it bare and makes a cross out of it for Lent. A one of the noble “trees of the wood” (Ps. 96: 12) can remind us of the rejoicing in His death and resurrection.
