941 is easily my favorite addition to the hymnody within LSB. I sang it for the first time last April when my family visited Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, under the care of Rev. David Fleming. We closed the service with it and it literally gave me goose bumps. We’ve tried it a couple times in our congregation, but we’re still learning!

Thank you. This made my heart sing.

Gorgeous. Magnificent. Let’s see your typical contemporary christian praise chorus even try to match this.

This is also one of my favorite new hymns – so much so that my bride and I selected it as the closing hymn at our wedding. I know my pastor lurks around on this site, hopefully we will sing it one Sunday soon!

Thanks, Paul! Any idea how one can download the file for future playback … or addition to my Zune?

Thanks, Paul. The only thing better than this is to hear these men live in the chapel!

I play this nearly every morning before my classes. I love it. In fact, the whole CD is excellent on which this is recorded. Beautiful.

Magnificent! I want our choir and congregation to learn this. I will speak to my pastor and the organist/choir director at our workshop tomorrow.

A beautiful singing of a beautiful hymn. My only question is that the singing seems a bit slower than would be normal for congregational singing. (When the hymn is sung in the Fort Wayne chapel, it goes a bit faster.) Is that right? Do you know if there is a recording of this piece that goes a little faster so I can sing along in my car and work on memorizing the text?
    Thank you.
