Major Internet Buzz Over The Lutheran Study Bible
Wow, our web team at Concordia Publishing House reported that after we
announced the updated web site for The Lutheran Study Bible, with
pre-order, contributors, a comparison chart, and the first two of
substantial samples we are making available, we experienced the highest
traffic to our CPH web site, for three solid days, that we've had in
the past five years! And we get a lot of traffic anytime, so this is saying something.
To say there is a bit of excitement in the
air over the announcement about The Lutheran Study Bible is a
considerable understatement.
Thanks for all you are doing to spread the word, hither and yon, to and fro.
Please keep
promoting and sharing the link to The Lutheran Study Bible's internet

How are pre-orders going?
McCain: Great!
Peace to you, Paul!
*smile*
I led a Seniors’ Bible Study today and promoted the Lutheran Study Bible with great vigor and enthusiasm! Encouraged them to save their “shekels” and even to pre-order. Don’t know how many use the internet, but gave them the CPH URL. My question: Has any thot been given to group pre-orders? Perhaps postage paid or whatever????
You, Paul, are frequently in my prayers and I bless our Loving God for giving you as a gift to our Church. Of course, I frequently pray for you and your work! *smile*
Yours in Christ
Mel
McCain: Thanks, Mel, yes, if you take a look at the pre-order link on cph.org/lutheranbible you’ll see we are accepting pre-pub orders for “case lots” of the Bible, orders in quantities of ten, with free freight on those “batches of ten” orders.
Will there be promotional material sent to congregations to help facilitate bulk pre-orders?
McCain: Yes, we are printing up a very nice “sampler” on the Bible and will be releasing that in the coming months. And we will also do a nice promotional mailing with sign up posters, newsletter inserts, bulletin inserts, bulletin blurbs, etc. to help folks promote the Bible within their congregation.
Peace to you, Paul! You – and all your “sharings” are much appreciated. You are also frequently in my thots and prayers!
I lead a Saints Alive Seniors’ Bible Study yesterday and promoted the Lutheran Study Bible very strongly, and I will continue to do so. I told them about the pre-order prices. How excited I personally am!
Question: Is there any pricing break on a “group order”? Maybe postage or whatever?
Blessings to you, and keep up the good work! *smile*
I have been notified that the card that I used to pre-order The Lutheran Study Bible will be replaced next week with a new card bearing a new number and expiration date.
What must I do to be certain that CPH gets the new information so that the order will not be rejected on publication of TLSB?
McCain response: No problem, Jack. Just give our customer service center a call at 800-325-3040 and they’ll be happy to make the change to your new card.
