Well, I was excited when I first heard this was coming (I know, I’m a nerd). Everything I’ve seen since has just added to my anticipation. If they release any more videos, I may have to have a coma induced to carry me through to November. No that won’t work ’cause I’ll miss half of college football season.

Hyperbole aside, I am REALLY looking forward to reading my new study Bible.

This bible looks great Paul! I am looking to get my copy as well. One question I did have for you why did the LCMS go with the ESV and not the NIV or TNIV?

    God bless,
    Bob

Hi Bob, thanks for your comments. Here is an earlier blog post that I think provides an answer to your question: http://cyberbrethren.com/2009/05/14/why-the-english-standard-version-in-the-lutheran-church%E2%80%94missouri-synod/

    God bless!
