ConstructionSo many people were rushing to our two bookstores in Saint Louis to buy a copy of The Lutheran Study Bible that the city of Saint Louis had to set up signs reminding people they can simply just call 800-325-3040 to order a copy or visit our web site to place an order.

Funny. Good luck on your project. Next time that I go to Bethany I will go to the book store and look at the Study Bible.

Yeah, but they didn’t want to WAIT for one like I am out here in Oregon! When do the thumb-indexed Bibles ship? Anxiously waiting…

Pastor McCain, that is too, too funny!

I see that the hardback copies have shipped. Any hints on when the thumb-indexed hardbacks will ship (of which I am eagerly awaiting my copy!)

Hi Christine, I’m told that we will be shipping out all/every edition by at least the end of this month, if not already next week.

Pastor McCain, some months back I was told (on CPH’s toll-free phone line) that I had until Oct. 31st to order the new The Lutheran Study Bible (TLSB) at the pre-publication price.

That is correct. Price is good through Oct. 31

Hey, I just got the bible yesterday. It looks great and I think the notes are first rate. Like the prayers too. Using it for devotions and bible study.

Very funny. Mine arrived yesterday and I’ll have to admit to being a little speechless. It is impressive how much excellent material has been packed into this very handsome study Bible. Maybe this is becoming a habit for CPH. The Treasury is no different. Everytime I think I have the thing figured out some new treasure shows up. Thanks, CPH! Good work!

Paul, one of the footnotes in TLSB mentions a forthcoming Reader’s edition of Walther’s Law and Gospel. Have you posted about that anywhere?

McCain response: I have to be allowed a few surprises!

Got the Book in California this morning! Thanks, Uncle Paul, and all who helped to get this volume out — in my lifetime!

Just need a point of clarification: when you say that you’ll be shipping out all/every edition by the end of this month, if not already next week, does that include the leather editions? I ordered mine in large print genuine leather and hearing how people are raving over the regular hardcover edition makes me wish I’d ordered that one so I could have my Bible now. (I’m almost tempted to call and change my order to the hardback large print, but then I’d lose my place in line.)

McCain response: “all” means all and “every edition” means every edition.
