Pastor,
Thanks so much for posting this. We listened to it as we were getting ready for church this morning. It was perfect and set our Sunday off to a wonderful start. Our congregational meeting even went well and we approved a budget and elected our officers for next year and all of it peacefully and with no disagreements. That's a great day in anyone's book!!!

I would like to second Richard on this. If in doubt, go for Gardiner or Suzuki -- both fantastic on Bach, especially the cantatas. Whether in doubt or not, stay away from Richter and Rilling.

Danke! I know this sounds snobbish, but it sounds crisper with original instrumentation and performance. Suzuki (a Japanese Reformed Christian) has exceptional performances of this--as does John Eiliot Gardiner. But whatever the case: SDG!!!!!!!!!!!
