Great CD. I hope CPH produces a CD of the Psalter. (At least I searched CPH and couldn't find a Psalter CD.)

I am very pleased with the quality of the singing on the 'Evening & Morning' CD. This CD has made it possible for me to more fully utilize my Treasury of Daily Prayer. I have made a playlist of each of the services and added my own Preludes and Postludes for each to help me zone out distractions and glide into the service itself. The Postludes help me to get back into the world again.

I recommend the CD to all. Ten bucks! What a deal.

Thanks for sharing the news article on the Kantorei. The six Kantorei CDs are a staple of my iPod listening enjoyment. I highly recommend them.

If you are purchasing a combination of 10 or more CDs, I think you can get a discounted price on each CD by contacting the seminary's chapel/music office directly - Seminary contact info.

Paul,

Thanks for posting this wonderful article on the Kantorei. Of the many things I miss from my time serving on the staff at Concordia Theological Seminary, the greatest is the Kantorei and the worship services when they sang in Kramer Chapel. There is simply nothing like it on this earth. Richard Resch taught me about the hymns of the church and Art Just introduced me to the depths and riches of the liturgy. It was their that it all came together for me, what it is to be a Lutheran, what is really meant by "Divine Service." The Kantorei and their many CD's are burned onto my iTouch and are frequently the music of choice when I am focused on editing Sunday School and other materials for CPH. The Kantorei is surely a gift of God to the Church!

Thanks! - Pam
