Check out Concordia Publishing House’s great new web site!! It went “live” last night and we’ve already been getting a great response. I think you will enjoy all the new functionality and features and will be able to find things more easily. One of the cool features is the integration of social media on every product. See something you like and want to share? Just hit “share” and you can e-mail it, Facebook it, Tweet it, and many more ways to spread the news. Enjoy!

Enjoy? Looks like I gotta redo all the links to specific products on the sidebar of my blog, as every one of them now defaults to the home page! And then, once in a great while, very rarely, one would hardly notice, I opine about liturgical matters, and I could not find a category link for “Hymnals” or “Worship” or something like that, and finally found stuff under “Music”. And then, I could not find any red Red Hymnals, only blue ones!

    Oy.

I just wish the Lutheran Confessions were featured prominently (or at all) on the home page.

I cannot imagine a more important book (well, after the bible) that CPH could be selling and it deserves special attention even if it is not the most popular book they sell.

    Pr. McCain,

I like the fresh look. I’m sure it’ll take some getting used to it, but it’ll definitely be worth it.

The old site had a link to new products. Is there a link to them on the new site?

If you still have access to programmers who can make changes to the site, you might consider showing the author’s name under the item title. (For example, I can see “Baptism – CLD, Volume 11″, but I have to click on the item and go to its page to see that it’s by David Scaer.)
