How great it would be for us to be known as “the singing church” once again. A people of God singing the praises of God in our sanctuaries and homes. The LSB has been and is a gift. I have a copy at home and it is a great devotional aid as well as good reading. Bored? Read through some hymns. Need some encouragement? Chant and meditate on some psalms.
Sometimes the words of hymns can go by us on Sunday morning if we get distracted. Having a hymnal in the home allows you to go back and really wade around in the great things God has done for us in Christ.
