Take a Look at the New Edition of Walther’s Law/Gospel Book

We’ve prepared a robust sampler of the new forthcoming edition of Walther’s famous work on the proper distinction between Law and Gospel. You can download the PDF file here, and browse around to your heart’s content.

WARNING: The sample is a large PDF file, nearly 5 megs. So, it will take a while to download, depending on your Interweb connection speed. Please, no whining about the file size.

And, if you are so inclined to get your order in before the book is actually printed and back here at CPH, which will be toward the end of June/early July. More details are available on the Law/Gospel product page on the CPH web site.

I think you will be very impressed by the wealth of information the new edition offers, and the superior translation being offered. We’ve freed CFW Walther from the shackles of being made to sound like a 19th century British professor!

I’m not whining about the file size; I’m very grateful for the expanded sample.
Now I’m going to read the translation with great interest to see that you haven’t made Walther sound like a 21st century American professor!

I am having trouble downloading the PDF so I may look at it in Preview which works so much better for this than Safari.
What is the secret to downloading the file?

Never mind. Jane helped me open it in preview.

Great scribbling Judas in the scriptorum, how wide is the volume?

Also, will there be any – re the $29.99 — introductory promos featuring the “How can they sell it so cheap and still stay in business?” pricing that has made CPH a legend?
