My father, Philip P. Janke, used to write a series for the old Northwestern Lutheran (Forward) on hymns called, ‘Turn to the Psalter.’ When he wrote on ‘Lord, You I Love with All My Heart’ one sentence of his that stuck in my mind was, “Blessed is the congregation that learns to sing this hymn.” Thanks for doing the interview. You remind me of how right my father was.

No, my mistake, his articles were called ‘Hidden Gems in the Hymns.’ The hymn ‘Lord, You I Love with All My Heart’ is a gem. Thanks again.
