Did You Know That There are EIGHTEEN Different Formats of The Lutheran Study Bible?
March 1st, 2011
Yes, you read that correctly. There are EIGHTEEN different editions/formats of The Lutheran Study Bible. Same great content, eighteen ways to get it. There are fifteen different print formats and three digital formats. Read all about them here and take advantage of special sale pricing on many of them, during CPH’s Spring Catalog sale, where you can receive free shipping on any order for $75 or more on items ordered from the Spring Catalog. Read all about the various TLSB formats here.

Paul,
I have my official Lutheran Study Bible, and think it’s wonderful. However, I do have a marketing/distribution question, and I know it’s been asked before:
Is it possible for CPH to sell a physical bible, and for a few shekels more, include the downloadable (kindle or epub?) I find it hard to justify in my own budget purchasing the same thing in different formats. I know much of this is preference, but just wondering.
As you have probably answered this question numerous times, can you point me in the right direction for the answer?
Blessings,
Mike Moreno
Hi Mike, I wish we could do that, but we set our prices where they are in order to cover our costs and provide revenue so we can continue doing what we do. With that in mind, we need to charge for a digital copy of TLSB, just like we do the print copy. Thanks for understanding.
To those of you wanting to see all 18 formats at once on the CPH website, here is the link to all 18 formats.

I have 6 of the formats for various reasons/situations
. The compact edition is very handy to take along on trips. I like the larger print edition the best.
It is very informative to compare the notes of the ESV Study Bible with The Lutheran Study Bible. The Lutheran Study Bible touches me in a way that the others don’t.
Cool, thanks.
I carry my compact TLSB (in its small bible cover*) in my backpack to work and elsewhere. It even made a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando three weeks ago
.
My larger print TLSB is not a problem taking anywhere in its TLSB cover. I’ve taken it to work to read at lunch time in the cafeteria, carrying it in a shoulder bag.

I only have one format — the straight up hardback — and most likely that will be it, but any format that can put this magnificent work before people is a good thing. It’s just hands down THE way to go for a study Bible.
