August 21st, 2011
A few videos of shooting fun today. Took my son, John, out to the range for a great father/son outing. He leaves for college on Tuesday.

I have made some comments on a previous post that highlighted weapons. While the aspect of a “father/son outing” is undoubtedly laudable, the focus on weapons is not – and certainly doesn’t have a place on this kind of site.
Sorry, but in Australia we see things a little differently. Perhaps one day in America, this outlook might also dawn. We pray that it will.
Sorry, Wally, you are just wrong. There is nothing wrong with shooting guns.
Mr. Wally ought to realize that we live IN the Kingdom of the Left Hand, and as such, have a right to defend ourselves, and a responsibility to defend those dependent upon us, from the evil folks around us. There is no better deterrent to those who would violate (perpetrate violence upon) us than to possess and know how to use firearms. There’s also NOTHING wrong with the shooting sports, including lawful hunting, especially when the game is overabundant (e.g. deer in Indiana) and, if possible, put to good use (e.g., food).
