That “News Flash” is the most annoying web graphic ever.

I know, I’m actually rather proud of it. I don’t think I’ve ever used an animated gif before, so I wanted to do it up right. Thanks for noticing. But, I agree…it is hurting my eyes. So, I replaced it.

Just ordered six copies last night for family and a friend of my mother. Word of mouth truly goes a long way.

The friend of my mother from one of my parents’ retired military groups is from France and is the only Lutheran in her family (she chose to join the Lutheran church later on in life).

She happened to mention looking for information to be more informed and knowledgeable about Lutheran church doctrine, practices and norms and my mother told her about the Lutheranism 101 book. I gave an extra copy to my mother for her friend to buy. The friend was so happy to get it and thought she’d read it quickly. Yes, it’s is very readable and understandable, but deep and it took her longer to go through the whole book (about a week). She showed it to people at her church, creating even more interest!

Now she and her friends at church are going to study Lutheranism 101 in a study group. I told my mother about the Course workbook and showed her my copy. Now my mother will tell her friend about the Course workbook.

I decided not to wait but ordered several more copies of the Course workbook. The power of word of mouth has shown in ways I have not foreseen, touching people I’ve never met!
