I would humbly say that we have both: certain segments of the Synod are there to entertain thus the cruise ship while others are there to equip the saints for the battle against Satan and his angels–thus the battle wagon.
Serving as a pastor in Norfolk, VA I met a lot of navy men and women and attended many retirement ceremonies. Retired USN told me what it was like to keep the watch on the high seas in a moonless night. At the retirement ceremonies, a piece is read “he kept the watch” for our protection and safety. I found it profoundly moving and it made me thankful for all those seamen who stood guard for our country. Ever-vigilant. This should be a lesson for us. When the Church is only watching out for our spiritual pleasures, and is not ever-vigilant and does not keep the watch against the winds of every false doctrine, then we are tossed and lose our bearings. Good vid.
Neither. I vote for Hospital Ship!

This video is lame.
Lame, you mean, lame as in “Nacho Mamma” as your handle lame??
