A Video Introduction to My First Hymnal (A Really Professional One!)
November 1st, 2011
What a great introduction to My First Hymnal, showing how valuable it is for little ones and their families! Check it out. You’ll love it, starring Elizabeth Pittman, a member of our team here at CPH, and her cute little guy, Christian. I think I used to be that cute. Maybe.

Yeah, cool video. I bought this for my 3.5 year old for Christmas. I can’t wait to give it to him. Something in the video really rang true. The idea that these guys are sponges. It is very true. My son already knows the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles Creed by heart.
When you think about it, this is the time when they really can memorize things. Why not get that small Catechism in their heads and then as they grow and mature they can learn about it more deeply?
Once again, another awesome publication by CPH.

I don’t mean to be unkind, but I have questions it didn’t answer. Do all the hymns have music or just the lyrics? Is it simple music so a beginner pianist can play it? Does a CD come with it?
Please take a look at the sample of it from the website: http://www.cph.org/pdf/992268_exerpt.pdf
Do all the hymns come with matching and simple music? Can a beginner play it on the piano? Does it come with the CD? Do the hymns have all the verses?
