I’ve had a lot of people asking me when the Worship Planner for Series C, 2013 will be available. Well, it is now. Just came in from the printer. Please let me underscore how important it is for you to purchase your copies now, before we run out of stock. This is not the kind of resource we want to have excessive inventory for, since it is dated material. So, he who hesitates is lost! Be sure to order enough copies for your: pastor, church office, musicians, etc. etc.

Order here. You can take a look at a sample from the planner, by clicking on this link.

Got it! Thank you for the reminder. I found the Year B planner to be very helpful. My organist was also impressed by it. Looking forward to Year C.

Is there anything like this available for the One-Year Series?

Nope, sorry, no can do. One Year user, ironically, like to “do their own thing” much more than three users, making it impossible to try to provide anything to them/for them. We can’t even get them to agree on what, precisely, is the “one year/historic lectionary.” Like I said, the height of irony. They despise those who “do their own thing” on the low church side, but they feel very comfortable doing the whole “I did it my way” when it comes to their pet liturgical interests on the high side of things.

Hmmm, I don’t care for the sound of that last post, Paul – kind of lumping all One Year users into one unflattering stereotype, aren’t you (if you use the One Year lectionary you are obviously a pain in the backside for all of us more enlightened folks)? The One Year lectionary is “high church?” The Three Year is “low church?” Really? Why did CPH publish a One Year series with the LSB at all if there is no agreement on it? I use the One Year lectionary as do several pastors I know and all of us use the One Year lectionary provided with the LSB (thank you for that, by the way) and I would not label any of us as “high church.” I’m sure there must be a significant number of pastors and parishes using the LSB One Year lectionary. It would be great to see more resources for this from CPH! It may not be as profitable as the 3-year series when it comes to money, but please don’t leave us One Year folks high and dry just because there may be some nay sayers. I, for one, would eagerly purchase One Year lectionary resources – and I promise you will never smell incense in our church! Peace!

Sorry, just the way it is Thomas. I wish it weren’t. I prefer the one year lectionary, myself.
