Hey, everyone, we at CPH are happy to “unveil” our awesome new LUTHERAN WITNESS app that you can use to read the WITNESS on any Apple mobile device. You need to check it out here, it works great. If you are already a print subscriber by way of individual subscription, it is free for you. If you receive your WITNESS as a result of subscription you receive through your congregation, you can add a digital subscription for a nominal fee. And, if you have no subscription to the WITNESS but want only a digital subscription, well…there’s an App for you. Check out all your options here. The October issue is available now in the App. It is a fantastic issue!

Can this be loaded onto a Kindle Fire? If yes how?

So I register as a subscriber. But where’s the app for iPad? There was none at the site. Must I go through iTunes? Really a bit confusing

By the way, beside my iPad I have a Kindle Fire HD. So no app for it? That’s an Amazon product and Amazon produces all those kindle books, including a number of CPH offerings. Maybe an app for the Kindle should be seriously considered.

I found it by following the links on CPH’s site. It downloads into “Newsstand” and looks beautiful. They’ve really outdone themselves here. I showed it off to bible study a week or so ago, and had to bring in the janitor to clean up the drool. Great job, CPH.

How about us old fashion folks (retired clergy) who use only a PC computer and don’t have any apples except the kind you eat?

I have an Android-based tablet and a Kindle reader, neither of which are apparently compatible with the LW app.

With my android tablet, the Kindle Fire (2011 version) not accommodating Apple Apps, I got an iPod Touch 4th Gen for them. I was afraid the iPod might be redundant and overkill, but the iPod Touch turned out to be a very complementary device without very much duplication of apps. Having both devices works very well for me.
