GERHARD in LOGOS Format — Pre-Publication Offer Available Now
November 14th, 2012
LOGOS.COM and Concordia Publishing House are partners in offering you resources in the most popular theological research software program available: LOGOS.
In order to evaluate interest in having the volumes presently available in the translation of Gerhard’s Theological Commonplaces, LOGOS is now taking pre-publication orders and the price will never be lower than it is now.
I can’t encourage you strongly enough to sign up for this special offer. If enough people do sign up, we will be able to proceed with offering Gerhard in LOGOS format.
Please follow this link to sign up.

How can I get it for 119.95 like it was a few days ago?
You can’t, that was a mistake!
I am a 56 year old pastor in the LCMS.
I own Logos 4 and I will be upgrading to Logos 5 at some point.
I own Luther’s Works and others on Logos. i.e. Pieper, Law and Gospel etc. as well as a couple of the concordia commentaries. I have one of the commentaries on pre-order with Logos.
Other than the sound doctrine presented in the Commonplaces, (and I don’t own hard copies) I am asking the difficult question. What is the benefit to me of these particular writings? I am not familiar with their contents.
I am fully supportive of publishing such materials and I am 100% for the Logos system.
For this amount (@$224), I could upgrade to one of the bundles with Logos 5. I know that they will be coming out with a free upgrade to Logos 5 at some point.
I do not question the value of Gerhard’s writings. I am just asking for a little insight.
Re. Johann Gerhard, in short, he provides the most extensive presentation of Christian doctrine ever produced by a faithful, orthodox, confessional Lutheran.
Can it be read on the old libronix program?
